Blender Edit Texture Atlas
Material a simplified version of the entire material is drawn using glsl shaders.
Blender edit texture atlas. The texture atlas addon temporarily combines all selected objects into one for the sake on manipulating uvs together. Today i thought i d share one of my new favorite ways to deal with uv maps of low poly characters. So when the objects were combined i was able to vertex paint them all together. Texture this draw mode is used for editing painting and mapping individual textures.
The workflow i used was the easiest one for me to apply. This add on is currently only working with blender 2 80 because it is relying on the principled bsdf nodes in order to determine the color of the texture tile. This uses solid lighting and also is mostly useful for editing painting and mapping textures but while seeing how they integrate with the material. The texture drawn is the active image texture node for the material.
One of the things that always frustrated me about t. This is a relatively short video on manual texture atlasing in blender for use in vrchat.
